About

Hi, I’m ieva!

I’m a Somatic Sex Educator (in training). I am currently based in Vilnius, where I do consultations in both Lithuanian and English, and I am also in London often. Additionally I work with clients online.

My Background

I have been involved in the sex positive world for many years both as a participant and educator. I’ve been studying Somatic Sex Education since 2021 at the Institute for the Study of Somatic Sex Education where with an amazing selection of mentors and colleagues I am delving deep into holding space for clients using consent, somatic awareness, anatomy, neuroscience, sexological bodywork, ritual, movement therapy, nature and more.

The body has always been a key source of intelligence for me – first through dance, personal relations, then through discovering sex positivity, somatic practices and spirituality (I do not subscribe to any religion, and welcome people of all religions / philosophies).

I describe myself as an erotic adventurer and pleasure activist and someone who is very connected (or is learning to re-connect) with nature. I also have a deep curiosity for science when it comes to our well-being.

I enjoy creating relations with communities and I sometimes participate (more rarely these days) in events doing public speaking and workshops. I’ve lectured at KinkyPink parties, Sapfo festival, Yaga festival, Loftas festival, Mo Museum, The Queery, Limits Club, private events and many online lectures with The Pleasure Union.

My Mission or Why I Do This Work

My clients often ask me why I do this work and what I get from it. In short, I believe that everyone deserves the right to have a safer loving space to explore their sexuality, because there’s so much self-discovery and potential for life satisfaction there.

Secondly, I am a sexuality geek and I love learning and sharing new ways on how to have more pleasurable intimate moments with oneself and others. I believe that touch and being somatically aware are great tools for that.

Thirdly, I used to experience pain during penetrative sex and shame about my own sexuality. I rarely do now and I want others to also have pain-free and shame-free sex (unless, of course, it turns you on)!

Lastly, I believe that learning to say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ and communicating your desires and limits will actually make the world a better place for everyone, so this work is also part of my activism.

My Practice Values

Holding space for you as you are and celebrating your pleasure are my key values.

I am also kink-aware, LGBT+ focused and non-monogamy normative which means I don’t think there is one right way to be as a sexual being.

Additionally, I strive for my practice to be sex positive, counter-normative, de-colonial, non-pathologising, trauma-informed, pleasurable, fun and kind.

I pledge by the Code of Ethics of Somatic Sex Educators Association.
